This hotel is the oldest hotel in Krakow. It is located between the Florianska Gate and the Main Square, in the heart of old town. The hotel is on the busy Royal Route, which leads millions of tourist straight to the Royal castle.
Following its refurbishment this four-storey hotel, located in the former Renaissance palace of Prospero Provano, meets all the modern standards of hospitality. 57 rooms are available, including seven suites.
Each floor has a unique décor, from the stately and distinguished biedermeier style to the cosy contemporary arrangement. The colorful polychrome on the walls, historic tile stoves, woodblock floors, graceful stuccowork with the recurring rose motif testify to the hotelier tradition that has been nurtured throughout the centuries.
Each guest room is equipped with air-conditioning, phone, complimentary high-speed Internet access, plasma TV and minibar. The bathrooms, featuring luxury Italian fittings and heated floors, are tiled with natural stone (granite, marble, basalt, mica).
The hotel windows look out onto the Old Town's church spires. The hotel fitness and sauna centre provides a truly spectacular view: it is located on the last, glazed storey, which opens onto a picturesque cityscape of Krakow's rooftops.

Among the enchanting Renaissance buildings one distinguishes itself – its Gothic history is as ancient as the history of the street. Since centuries, the building number 16 belonged to the cathedral chapel and hosted the intellectual and financial elite of Krakow - Poland’s capital at that time. Apparently, Nicolaus Copernicus himself was one of the guests. The building is counted among the most interesting monuments of medieval residential architecture in the city.

From the very beginning it was clear that the revealed monuments represent high artistic and scientific values. Today, in their original shape, they constitute the interior decoration of the most prestigious suites.
Today, the comfort and modernity are apace with the tradition. The testimony of the past epochs coexists with the daring modern solutions. Here, far away from the bustle of the city, our guests can rest in the chimney room among books and ancient prints, and taste more than 200 different wines in the retreat of the medieval wine cellar. Our guests are invited to enjoy fine meals in our Renaissance restaurant which serves dishes according to the traditional recipes used at the court.
The inside yard covered with a glass roof houses a Piano Bar. The fitness corner with a sauna and a swimming - pool is situated in the historic cellars.
